Stellantis declined Michigan's $1 billion offer for EV battery plant

Michigan economic development officials offered Chrysler parent Stellantis four different sites and as much as $1 billion in direct incentives for a massive electric vehicle battery plant, but the automaker ultimately chose a less subsidy-rich deal in Indiana.
