Fresh GM models, Tesla Cybertruck help boost U.S. EV registrations 18%, latest data shows

New battery-electric models from General Motors along with an assist from Tesla's hit Cybertruck pickup helped boost electric vehicle registrations by 18 percent in August compared with the same month a year earlier, the latest U.S. data shows.
